Here is our 2007 Christmas card. Some of our good friends are professional photographers and the past two years have done our holiday cards for us. Dave, the photographer, told us in a normal 30 minute photo shoot he takes an average of 200-250 photos. To get these four photos he took 542! Thatcher always struggles to look at the camera, Beckett was in a contrary mood that day and Haddon was just plain goofy. :) To get all our boys smiling at the same time Dave started across the garden waving his arms and screaming like a wild man. Once they started laughing he stooped down and clicked away.
I wanted to post this here because so many of you have become dear friends even though I have never seen your faces in real life. I am thankful for this cyber-community, blessed by the encouragement I have received and the experience and wisdom so generously shared!

Jennefer~ I know how tough it is to get three little boys to cooperate and look good... all at the same time. :) You saw the crazy pictures of my boys, didn't you? :)
The final product is what counts, though, and boy did you get a great one!! You all look gorgeous and happy. The card itself is pretty incredible. Nicely done!
And Merry Christmas!!
Oh, and I can't believe how much your boys remind me of my own. They look alike, I think, and are so close in ages. What fun.
Wow! Those came out so well! Beautiful shots of a lovely family!
I wish you all a very blessed Christmas!

Jennefer - Love the new header! But the pics of the boys are the best! I still torture myself with the trip to Pennys each year and never get a great shot. Your card is soooo nice!

Beautiful family! Just "found" you tonight...gonna have to come back. I begin my homeschool journey "officially" next year and am looking into classical. Gonna have to come back and run around this site :)
Jennefer, wow, these are wonderful photos- what a great job your friend did! We have such a hard time getting a good family shot of our brood. We had a friend who is a photographer take some for us this fall, and we have some wonderful ones- yet a few having me wondering what I was thinking about the wardrobe choice I made for my dd..what was I thinking? It's always something it seems, sigh.
I so love the smiling/laughing shots of your boys - beautiful!
